China Glass 2017 will certainly provide the best platform for global brand presence, technical exchanges and business interaction for global glass communities. At present the Chinese glass industry is in a turnaround mode with policy support from the government, glass industry innovation and growth momentum of the first half of 2016. State Council documents have provided guidelines for speeding up structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading, controlling economic downturn and low benefits for the glass industry.
Innovative achievements such as ultra-clear and ultra-thin glass have continuously been scored. Meanwhile, the supply-demand gap has been shrinking and the glass industry is poised for growth. As the largest glass event in 2017, China Glass 2017 will continue to respond to the policy of reducing excessive production capacity and promoting structural reform of the supply side, supporting technical exchanges of the glass community, helping domestic and foreign manufacturers to expand markets and promote international economic trade.
