– Tell us about Roshnak Systems

– What is ClearShield, and how does it enhance glass surfaces?
ClearShield is a specially formulated liquid that upgrades any glass to a non-stick, stain-resistant surface. It significantly reduces maintenance by at least 50% and keeps glass looking pristine for up to 10 years. It is ideal for showers, windows, skylights, railings, facades, and other glass surfaces. What sets ClearShield apart is its non-flammable, food-safe, and bacteria-retarding properties, making it the safest and most effective solution in its category. – As an entrepreneur new to the glass industry, how has your journey been?
My background is in computer science engineering from BMS Bangalore, and I come from a nonbusiness family. Entering the glass industry without prior experience came with challenges, but it also allowed me to take a fresh, disruptive approach to growth. Since our product is relatively new in the Indian market, my goal has been to create awareness in innovative ways. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people who are dedicated to innovation and customer satisfaction. The glass industry is a crucial contributor to the rapid urbanization of Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India, and I believe it will play an even greater role in the next decade.
– What is your vision for ClearShield and its impact on the industry?
Glass is valued for its utility, transparency, and beauty, but maintaining its pristine appearance can be a challenge. ClearShield ensures that glass remains clean and stain-free for years, preserving its value. Our vision is to make ClearShield a standard for toughened glass, rather than a niche application limited to showers. Anyone installing glass should have the option to keep it easy to maintain, and with RITEC’s globally trusted technology, we are working to make this a reality across India.
– What challenges do you face in establishing a national distribution network?
The biggest challenge is creating awareness about ClearShield. Once potential clients, dealers, or processors see a demo, they rarely doubt its effectiveness. To overcome this challenge, we first built a strong horizontal network of partners and then vertically integrated demand with supply. I personally enjoy this process, as it allows me to interact with a diverse range of people—from large-scale glass processors and small-scale dealers in Tier 3 cities to architects, facade specifiers, interior designers, and even major brands like Jaquar, with whom we are proud to collaborate. Every challenge presents an opportunity, and we always approach them with a solutionfocused mindset.
– ClearShield has seen steady growth in India over the past few years. What do you attribute this success to?
