January 1, 2017 Events4

The 28th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2017) will be held at its new venue, China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, from May 24, 2017 to May 27, 2017. The four-day China Glass 2017 expo is organized by Chinese Ceramic Society and contracted by Beijing Zhonggui Exhibition Co Ltd. As one of the two main events of the glass industry, China Glass 2017 will be the focus of the global glass community for its sheer gigantic space with an exhibition area sprawling over 90,000 square metre, covering eight mega exhibition halls. The grand glass exhibition will be attended by thousands of glass enterprises and more than 30,000 visitors from over 70 countries

China Glass 2017 will certainly provide the best platform for global brand presence, technical exchanges and business interaction for global glass communities. At present the Chinese glass industry is in a turnaround mode with policy support from the government, glass industry innovation and growth momentum of the first half of 2016. State Council documents have provided guidelines for speeding up structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading, controlling economic downturn and low benefits for the glass industry.
Innovative achievements such as ultra-clear and ultra-thin glass have continuously been scored. Meanwhile, the supply-demand gap has been shrinking and the glass industry is poised for growth. As the largest glass event in 2017, China Glass 2017 will continue to respond to the policy of reducing excessive production capacity and promoting structural reform of the supply side, supporting technical exchanges of the glass community, helping domestic and foreign manufacturers to expand markets and promote international economic trade. The 27th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2016) successfully concluded at Shanghai on April 14, 2016. The exhibition was held in seven halls spread over an area of up to 80,500 square metre. As many as 886 companies from 31 countries attended the show, which included 656 domestic companies and 230 foreign enterprises. The exhibitors competed in demonstrating their latest technology, equipment and products in the fields of production, processing and testing. Special glass products, glass-processing and manufacturing technology and equipment relevant to low carbon economy, energy conservation, emission reduction, new energy and green building materials, intelligent manufacturing and glass industrial robot were the highlights of the event. China Glass 2016 was visited by more than 30,000 visitors from 65 countries, of which 13% were from overseas. A sizeable number of exhibitors has already applied for booths at the upcoming glass show since the preparatory work for China Glass 2017 began in July 2016 and most of the exhibitors had submitted booth applications as early as the end of China Glass 2016. Many leading glass enterprises, including those from Italy, the US and Germany, have confirmed their booth areas/pavilions at China Glass 2017. This fully demonstrates the confidence of western countries in China’s economic environment and their interest in China Glass 2017. Many Chinese companies such as China Building Materials Academy, Triumph International, North Glass, Luoyang Float Glass Group, TAIWANGLASS, Land Glass, Mingte Glass, Jinjing Group, CSG Holding, Shanghai SYP Glass, Shahe Glass Group, HIHO Glass, Sinoma Advanced Materials, China Glass Holdings, SHANXI LIHU, Ruitai Materials Technology, Lewei Science & Technology, Liaoning North Glass Machine, Guangdong Fushan Glass, EI Automation Equipment, Tenon (Beijing), Beijing MGM Glass, Hebei Yinxin, Zhijiang Silicone, Chengdu Guibao, Shanghai Huitian, Shandong Sanjin Glass, SJ Glass, Tengzhou Huayang, Guilin Champion Union, Zhengzhou Yuandong, Hengfa Aluminum, and Huafu(Chengde) Glass will participate at China Glass 2017. International glass enterprises are upbeat about the show and many of them, including Glasston, Bystronic Glass, Dip-Tech, Kuraray, Von•Ardenne, Bohle, Grenzebach Machinery, Beijing SEPR, AGC, LiSEC, OMCO, Vesuvius, Bottero, Intermac, PPG, and SGS, will be at China Glass 2017. As many as 578 exhibitors have confirmed their booths and the reserved booth area has touched 61,000 square metre. China Glass 2017 has received support from organizations at home and abroad, including China Building Materials Federation, China Association for Science and Technology, China Architectural and Building Glass Association, China Association for Glass Industry, ICE Italy, GIMAV-VITRUM, BMWI, VDMA and Dame Associates Inc. Serving the global glass industry is the main aim and objective of the China Glass 2017 organizers who are spearheading the campaign for promotion of the event by running advertisements on authoritative industrial media at home and abroad. All this is aimed at inviting a large number of existing and potential buyers to the show with coordination by service agents to make active and timely response to both exhibitors and visitors, offering them value-added services to their utmost satisfaction.
