The firm has built its repute by successfully executing automotive glass development projects for major automotive OEM’s on national and international levels, like Toyota, Hyundai, Suzuki, GM, Tata Motors, Ford, Fiat, Mahindra, Renault, Volvo, Bajaj Auto, PVPL, etc. Mr Pawar is an Electrical Engineering graduate from Pune University, having more than 25 years of rich and diversified industrial experience mainly in technical design and project management. He has worked for nearly 10 years in French MNC Saint-Gobain Sekurit, an automotive glass division of Saint-Gobain, as Head of Product Development and Internal Projects. Mr Pawar is a certified ‘Internal Quality Auditor’ for ISO, QS – 9000 & ISO – TS 16949 International Quality Standards. During these years he got multidisciplinary exposure to civil, electrical, mechanical, compressed air, water and all utilities, including glass processing. Over the last 10 years, J D Pawar Consultants has been bringing/ implementing concepts from the automotive industry to architectural field fueled by the changing market demands like industrial engineering in plant design, plant capability with process capability, process control ideas for better quality, optimized process flow, productivity, minimal process loss, high yield, high uptime, lesser energy consumption, increased efficiency, etc. J D Pawar adopts a methodical and systematic approach while rendering during technical consultancy and project management services: 1. Helps Customer Define / Refine – Plant Objectives in terms of Market, Product Mix, Plant installed Capacity, Product Quality, Productivity, etc. 2. Design / Define Plant layout with Optimized Process Flow considering space availability for Raw Material Storage, WIP storage, Finished Goods area, material handling during entire Process. 3. Proposes & Provides help to carry out project feasibility / Viability study. 4. Prepares a Realistic budgetary project cost sheet which covers all known & hidden costs for smooth project Execution. 5. All above drives proper Machine selection, Plant & Utility Design. 6. Preparation & finalization of Technical Specifications for Machines & Eventually Signing off technical Contracts / Agreements with Machine suppliers in all respect. 7. Effective Project Planning & Scheduling to ensure completion of project within Time parameters. 8. To achieve this M/s J D Pawar Consultants co-ordinates with internal and external agencies, monitors critical path, handles project technical queries in line with project schedule. 9. Monitors Machine installation & commissioning. 10. Sign off Acceptance Certificate by both Supplier & Customer as defined in contract till 1st Trial Production.
