This product, known as Smartly Driven™ endcaps, was designed to withstand the high temperatures needed to produce tempered, low-e glass. The glue was always the weakest point and would cause significant downtime for machinery operators. Smartly Driven™ technology has brought reliability and consistent performance to the process of thousands of satisfied customers. The new design of Glass Tempering roll, brings greater accuracy, tighter tolerances, is much stronger and somewhat lighter than the existing designs. The product was officially launched at the Glasstec show in Germany, and when the videos of the rigorous testing were played, the benefits were clear and obvious for people to see.
