Powered By European Technology, Plant Will Make Glass Up To 3,000 mm X 6,000 mm Size
The biggest laminated safety glass plant of northern India has been set up at Ramchandrapura Industrial Area of Sitapura Extension in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The plant was inaugurated on January 15, 2021.
The manufacturing unit, which is powered by European technology, has been set up by Agarwal Toughened Glass India Private Limited (ATGIPL).
The company has been producing toughened and insulated glass for the last five years in the country, adhering to the government’s ‘Make In India’ initiative.
Agarwal Toughened MD Mahesh Agarwal said the new unit-2 will help increase production of laminated safety glass. The product range will include Acoustic Laminated glass, PVB laminated glass, Sentry Plus laminated glass, Colour laminated glass, Triple laminated, crackle glass and bulletproof glass.
The maximum glass size to be made at the unit will be 3,000mm by 6,000mm.
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together by sandwiching a layer of polyvinyl butyl between pairs of glasses. ATGIPL laminated glass is made conforming to international standards.
