Şişecam at Intersolar Europe 2022 to Exhibit Its High-Performance Solar Glass

As a company focusing on energy efficiency in R&D studies and product development, Şişecam will participate in Intersolar Europe 2022, where to be held in Munich from May 11 – 13, 2022. At the fair, Şişecam will provide information about the development of high-performance solar glass and introduce its advanced technology products.

29.04.2022 – Şişecam will attend Intersolar Europe, one of the leading fairs of the solar energy industry, to be held in Munich, Germany from May 11 – 13, 2022. At the fair, Şişecam will introduce Şişecam Glass for Photovoltaics and Şişecam Glass for Solar Thermal Collector with high light transmittance, which provides maximum efficiency in solar panels.

Şişecam Glass for Photovoltaics and Şişecam Glass for Solar Thermal Collector directly affect the efficiency of solar panels with their high light transmittance performance. In addition, the glass protects the internal parts of solar panels, which generate electricity from solar energy, against environmental conditions. Produced in the “Sandy” and “Prism” patterns, Şişecam Glass for Photovoltaics and Şişecam Glass for Solar Thermal Collector reduce the reflection on the glass surface with its patterned structure. As a result, the specially developed glass achieves maximum efficiency in the performance of solar panels and collectors with their high light transmittance and low reflection values.  With the application of Anti-Reflective (AR) coating on glass surfaces, the reflection of light is minimized, while the light transmittance of glass is increased by approximately 2,5%, in this way increasing the performance and the efficiency of solar panels.

Şişecam will participate with its specially designed booth at the fair where the leading companies and representatives of the industry will meet, introducing visitors to its value-added products with high light transmittance that provide maximum efficiency in solar energy systems.
