The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recently granted licence to Versatile Glass Solution LLP for toughened glass of 4 to 12 mm and laminated glass of 8.38 to 40.56 mm.
The company is also the first in India to get a BIS licence for laminated glass above 25.52 mm thickness. Versatile Glass, one of the most versatile, innovative and technologically advanced glass processors in India, will now be able to print the ISI mark on these products.

VGS Toughen Glass
Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal (annealed) glass.
